Have you reported the manifold mishap to the police?

I did but when he said he'd returned it I withdrew my complaint. I guess it's his word against mine as to whether he's posted it or not and if I've received it or not, all I do know is I've not had any payment for the work I did nor have I received the manifold he said he'd posted before Christmas, he has also shown no profit that he's posted it either.
For those that know who we are talking about avoid him at all cost, he is not to be trusted.

To start with I had to buy a replacement manifold as my spare got damaged somehow,
Replacement LCR inlet manifold £50 eBay
8+ hours polishing = £70
Postage £12
All I was charging him was £70 plus his old one in return so I wasn't even making any money out of it, as it turns out its cost me £62 plus 8+ hours of my time.
The other annoying thing is because he hasn't sent his old one back I cant do any more for anyone else.

what is it?

You'll see soon enough ;) It's not VAG and not everyone is going to like it :)

I think it'll be something like a Nissan 4x4 or something like that.

Hopefully whoever it was let you down was in the the very very small minority Darren. Keep up the good work :)

I couldn't afford the 4x4 and it only came with the CVT auto gearbox, although from what I've heard it's quite good
We pick it up next Saturday so there will be some pictures up soon :)

I had a guy try and knock me a few years ago but he paid me via his dads paypal account which it turns out his dad didn't give him permission to use, a quick email to his dad soon sorted that out :D

Read through all of this over the last few days. Absolutely unreal build thread and motor. Hats off to ya mate

Thanks mate :)

Just got another Leon yellow again lol but a 52, facelift. Like I always wanted needs a new wing and its faded ridiculous amounts but going to wrap it

Only problem I have thou is driving it just the other day from picking it up red oil light 3 bleeps sounding like a transit, but left it parked up started it a while later sounds back to normal just a bit dry so going to drop the sump and see if the pick up needs a clean if not god knows :( haha so still the same old luck

Who you getting to wrap it ? Legend Vehicle Specialists Ltd do some really good work, I spoke to them about doing mine before Christmas.

Has it got the right grade oil in it ?

I've had it just over 6 years now and cant see me getting rid for a while certainly not with the new one coming :)

Very nice and I'm doing it with a friend of mine as he does It for a living and is really good at his job .

I'm not sure on the oil but will do a oil and filter change when I check the pick up and hope for the best if its knackered going to have to be a new engine dropped in or possibly even break it :(

If a engine though I didn't know if a bam would go straight in or a tfsi
