Dash light question

A light has just started to flash on my cupra TDI.

The light is 2 loops going horizontaly.

My manual does not have this light in it!! im taking a guess and going with a glow plug or pre-heating issue..

Any thoughts / suggestions or help? !!

Had to take it to stealers as i need my car badly (100 mile a day commute) and ocal garages i trust had no free slots.

Turns out after the DIAG, 3 glow plugs had failed and the brake light switch had gone too. grrrrrrr

Still, all sorted now and my wallet is a bit lighter!

i had my glow light appear when i got my car. turns out something fails and the break lights appear on at all times. 10 minutes later its all fixed and the light hasnt come on ever again.

I have this light, it like a coil or you can try imagine it as 2 fish hanging lol.

Whats the best thing to do?

find someone with VAGCOM to read the codes for you. My dealer charged just shy of £70 to to a full diag on the car.

If it is just a plug gone you can get that sorted nice and easy
