Just thought I'd check in one last time.

My 2002 Mk1 TDi was finally taken to the Big Scrap Yard in the sky.

At just a fraction under 200,000 miles she rolled in on the original clutch, wheel bearings, steering rack and engine.

She's been a great car and in 16 years she NEVER broke down. (unusual for a girl)
The electrics was the main thing that started to fail in recent years and in one incident the central locking locked me inside and I had to open the window to get out. Like a dodgy date at a disco, I think she was trying to tell me something...

If I had more time I certainly would have kept her and bought her some new clothes, but alas she is now probably a one metre cube of scrap metal.

She served me well and met all my demands, but it's time to move on...

I now have a new South Korean in my life that rev's my engine! Oooh yeah...
