Evening. I’m looking to try and change the colour of the seat badge front/back. Also wanted to change the colour of the “Cupra” writing on the boot too. Anybody done it, if so, how?

Advice welcome!

A few people have done plastidip or wrapping of the badges :)

I believe plastidipping takes around 3-5 coats, and the wrapping makes you want to rip your eyes out unless you’re really patient.

I’ve seen on eBay that there are a few template black/chrome badges you can place over the front and rear Seat badges too.

Sounds painful! I was really hoping there was another way round it as I don’t want to take the “Cupra” writing off and then put it back on. Il hunt through eBay a bit more

You don’t have to for either method.

Wrapping is just painful because it requires precision cutting and a lot of patience.

Plastidipping is just messier but if done right, a much better finish. As long as long as you’ve covered and tap everywhere that needs protecting, it should be fine. Lots of YouTube videos on it. But it’s more expensive than wrapping.
