Decat and MOT

Looking to buy a MK2 Cupra and lots of cars for sale with long MOT's and decats. I assume people have friendly MOT testers or is it easy to pop the cat back in for the MOT?

Ask em if it comes with a cat for the MOT time. If not they've just got a mate who sorts them out.

Question is do you have a mate willing to do the same for you?? If not then buy one with a sports cat or similar and save the hassle.
