Ok so the injector on my Seat Leon 2009 engine code BMN is failing ( letting to much fuel into the engine causing horrid smell for the exhaust because of over fueling ).
I have managed to track this down on ebay,
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMN-170b...509631?hash=item239b7ce7bf:g:ogsAAOSw~vpaAMih

Can anyone confirm this will fit my Leon 100% ?
I had it remapped and they told me it was one of the last engines before the CR version.
    Thanks.

The first thing I'd do is get in touch with SEAT UK and see if your car has had the injectors replaced under a service campaign.

There were a lot of problems with the injectors used in the PD 140 and 170 engines and all VW brands using them had to offer free replacement of the injectors to a revised version and a new wiring loom too.

There's a pinned thread at the top of this forum about it, but it's quite long.

If your car has not been done then you should be able to get the whole set of injectors replaced free of charge.

Obviously if your car has been done then you can't get it done again.

    Thanks for the info.
I phoned Seat a while ago, they said no recalls for my car.
I went ahead and ordered the injector above.
Lets hope its the right one.
