Found some info, but not actually the answer I'm looking for.
The YETI 1.6CR (CAYC engine) can upgrade it's intercooler to the same era S3, denser, same fittings and pipework = cool.
However, we don't have that luxury, it seems. However, I wondered if I could simply get some of the way there buy using the IC from the 1.8 IBIZA Cupra (engine DAJA or DAJB). Is it actually any different to the IC found on the Diesel CAYC. Certainly it's the same dimensions and the same part number except the variant changes
1.6 Diesel CAYC is 6R0 145 805
1.8 Petrol TFSI DAJA is 6R0 145 805F
Is the F variant denser, etc?
I don't really want to go down the FMIC route as I want the car to look as stock as possible.
