diesel making a loud thumping\ noise as i drive along

Please help me someone

My ibiza mk3 1.9 tdi, started making a weird thumping\knocking kind of noise a month back which has know got much worse. Took it to a garage and they said wheel bearings are fine and it might be a drive shaft and that they wernt sure (useless garages). Noise is louder and repetative as you drive along. Scared something bad might happan soon. Defo coming from the front end of the car and not the back.

Any ideas anyone on what it could be and how much it will cost me to get fixed if needed to.

ibiza diseal is making a loud thumping\knocking noise as i drive along its got louder over a period of one month and apperars to be coming from the front of the car.

Took to garage and they said wheel beraings are all fine and that it might be a drive shaft and that they wernt sure what it realy was (garages are **** at times)

Scared something bad could happan soon.

Any ideas anyone on what it could be and how much to get it fixed.

Yeah could be drive shaft or CV joint.
