Hi folks,

I have an offer for a lease deal on a FR 125, so I started looking at what the difference is with the 125 and 150. Can anyone let me know? I've looked around Google and the Wiki entry for VW engines but I don't think thats quite up to date.

What are the engine codes for these two?

Cheers

Both are the same basic engine (EA211), 150 has 50nm more torque stronger crankshaft, bigger turbo and of course cylinder deactivation of two cylinders for better mpg. It does feel quicker with the extra torque and slight increase in power a much bigger difference than the also similar 1.2 110 v 1.4 125.

Do a search for Active Cylinder Technology. The 150 has it, the 125 doesn't.
