dirt in headlamp?

Yep, the inside of the plastic lenses are dirty on mine but it's not really noticeable. To get the headlamps out you have to remove the bumper. You'll need star-shaped torex keys for that (I got a set from Halfords). You'd then have to break the OEM seal and remove the lense to clean it. Then put the lense back in and seal with silicone.

I've taken the leadlamps out on my Ibiza but didn't fancy trying to get the lense out. I just sealed with silicone to stop the wet air getting in when it rains/washing car etc. But my lights still fogged up, so I have replaced the black seals on the the back of the headlamp covers with thicker white door/window draft excluder foam from Homebase (like in this thread: seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=2674634). Haven't fitted the covers back on yet so not sure if the fogging problems iwll be gone (need a dry day to fit them so I don't trap wet air inside).

If I still get fogging I'll drill a few holes in the covers like others have done.
