Dogbone Bush Question

Hey guys, my dogbone bushes must be on their last legs, since I've had the car it's been jerky when setting off and changing gear and allowing some extra movement in the exhaust system, plus the wheel hop and so on.

I plan on getting a set of bushes this week and the other bush next week. Am I right in thinking it's the 2 rectangular bushes that go into the subframe side and take up the horizontal stress are the ones more prone to going? Like i said I plan to do both sides eventually but figured I should prioritise the horizontals. What have you guys experienced from when you all changed yours?.

As it was only £25 for a new Mehle dogbone I bought one rather than having the old round bush pressed out of the existing mount then bought a pair of Powerflex horizontals like you described.

Probably this :p

Vertical bush is easy enough with the right g clamps. Figured the horizontals will be my problem though, allowing the engine to flex back and forward more than normal.

There is even a supplier of one for like under £20
