I've managed to misplace (okay loose but I don't know how!) the door pin from my passenger door, it was there in the morning but its not any more!

Can these be obtained from the stealers? Or even better can you get blanking plates for these?

Thanks for any advise

Yes and yes.

The later models just have blanking caps where the pins used to be.

Ibiza ones are plain all the way up, so I 'm not sure the Leon one will work.

You can get chrome replacements out of the accessory brochure but the original blak ones can be got from the dealer - the part number is 3B0 837 187 B 01C according to my old parts list.

I've aquired some "rare" (as advised by the dealer) chrome pins that they, found in a recent stock check. :D

Thanks to TllEWL for his kind offer

I have fitted a chrome unit in place of the missing one, but I've been unable to remove the old one from the drivers door - is it as simple as a tight twist off - I dont want to use brute force in case I break something. Or is there a process for removing something that appears to be so simple?

I can do electronics, but mechanics isn't me!
