Door Release Handle (Internal) - Mk3 Ibiza

The internal door release handle on my wife's 2000 model got broken off yesterday and it's a real pain in the *rse to get out over the central console. Anyone know where I can get a replacement (other than the dealership0 and how much is involved in swapping it out.

Open window, then open door with outside handle - job done.

Close window, then lock car.

Job done - no more climbing over centre console !!

They are quite rare secondhand, try an auction website or some breakers.
They are about £30 from a dealer though I am afraid.

at the dealer you get the whole handle. This part is riveted to the door card on the car so you prefer not to cut the plastic rivets. What I do [mine snapped twice!!] is just remove the chrome release handle and put it in place instead of the broken one, it's dead easy altho you need to remove the door card [there are guides around on how to do it, take a look if you need].
