I have noticed recently that the first time it changes gear in sport mode, usually when the engine is turning over 5000 rpm (which seems to be the point where it does the dsg fart) the gear change can be quite drawn out, in some cases It can cause a jolting sensation. This never seems to happen in normal mode, and usually only the first time. Subsequent gear changes are then unaffected for the duration of the drive, or at least until I switch back to normal (I haven’t checked whether it reoccurs)
It doesn’t seem to be related to how long I have been driving for (and thus a symptom of
Cold components, but then again I am not sure how I can gauge the temperature of the dsg oil).
Has anyone noticed anything like this?
Last time I checked there were no gearbox-related fault codes reported in Carista.
