I want to mount a crossover/equaliser and fuse/distribution blocks to the side walls of my Leon boot.
This will require drilling and securing some small self tapping screws in to each side of the boot, in the area just rearwars of the back seats.

Is this likely to cause me a problem? Will i go straight through to the inside of the wheel arch (i.e. to the ouside of the car) - or is there an internal void??

thanks

There is an inner arch of some type as thats what these upper rear strutt braces are bolted onto. But as for where, and how thick:shrug:

Good point.
I remember it being filled with foam and sound deadening actually, when I installed my upper brace.
I will take the carpet off again and see how far down and to the side this goes, hopefully I can get a couple of screws in there...
