Hey Guys..

Stupid question that I want to get rid off in my head, does the new Ibiza comes with paddles if ordered with DSG?

Obviously not much help now, but my MK5 1.0TSi FR came with paddles for the DSG. I just assumed if it's the FR then it will have paddles... maybe the Xcellence wouldn't? Pure speculation on my part though!

Doesn't really affect me.. No real place to use paddles to shift here in Malta, we're grid locked in traffic within seconds of starting the car.. I was just curious hehe :D

When I test drove the Ibiza FR DSG and Arona Xcellence DSG, 4 months ago, both had paddles...I only find them especially usefull for engine braking downshift, or slow crawl in traffic in 'forced' 1st gear. Even without paddles, it can be easilly done with the gearstick, push away from you (on RHD cars) or maybe push towards you in LHD cars, and shift away). However with paddles, after 10-15 secs or so, it would go back to normal auto.
