DSG DQ200 Recall

Hum...I'll ask my dealer about this! (Mexico).

This is the oil the DSG use for the hydraulics right? since the DQ200 use dry clutches

There is a thread which I started a while ago so have a search for it but AFAIK no recall letters have yet been issued to replace the synthetic with mineral oil. There's only 2.6 million cars to be fixed so we must get in line with older ones being done first.
Some countries have received an extended warranty to 10 years due to the high failure rate. It's apparently high humidity and city driving which causes the electronics to corrode and then fall completely. Something about sulphur from the oil and water making sulphuric acid.. I always thought that synthetic was more refined than mineral but I guess they have tested thoroughly
