DSG (DQ381) Clutch Slip

Hi,

I am new to this forum.

I have a Seat Leon 2,0 TDI with DSG7 (dq381), and I've noticed a slight clutch slip in 3rd gear when accelerating slowly. Or at least, I think the clutch is slipping - the rpm's suddenly rise around 100-200 r/min.

It only happens in 3rd gear, and it doesn't matter if the engine/gear box is cold or warmed up.

Has anybody else experienced this with the dq381? :)

Thanks.

Do the revs rise, but the car doesn’t increase speed at all? Normally slip would occur when accelerating hard not just when accelerating slightly.

Well yes, it only happens when acceleration slightly. And only in 3rd gear. And actually also in 5th, but the problem is way less prominent.

The car increases speed, but the revs rise and “jump” by 100-200 r/min. It happens maybe two-three times until the revs reach 2000 r/min.

In all other gears, the rev increase is nice and smooth. :)

I was just curious whether this is normal.
