Yeah I’ve got one and had one for a few years on my previous cars. Great bit of kit. I just want to know what people have their settings on.
Ahhh interesting. Do you think I’d be better waiting until after winter or just go ahead? Was going to get the one with the Bluetooth app.
Also do you notice better mpg when driven sensibly?

Yeah just go ahead and do it!! Can still drive sensibly with it on. Yeah better fuel consumption if you drive steady but it’s hard at times!
Thanks. I have a manual so I’ll see how the clutch gets on.

Yeah I love the DSG. I had a Mk7 Golf R a couple of years ago then changed for a manual RS after but needed DSG back in my life!
If you drove one there’d be no going back haha!!I’ve never driven a dsg

Don't piss around with a tuning box or a chip, get a proper re-map done by a specialist.

Gotta think about that warranty though! Plus my Jb4 is giving me the same results as a stage 1 map!
However the DTUK boxes are pretty poor in comparison to the Jb1/Jb4!
Lol says who?? I’ve been using them for a few years pal and they’ve always been fantastic with better figures than JB boxes. Reason I know is as I’ve had them on my Mk7 Golf GTD and Mk7 Golf R. Plus Mk3 Focus RS and now my Cupra. Think I’ve got it tried and tested.
Different strokes for different folks. I don’t think there is much argument about a proper remap being superior but for convenience a box wins... especially for people on a lease and also now that they come with Bluetooth control.
They have come a long way since plugging into 1.9 diesels
