Ive got the forge 007p fitted on mine. Its spot on upgrade. Only thing is im wanting a little increase in blow off sound. I gott old upgrading the panel filter may help by someone on here. I done that but hardly noticeable.

Any recommendations? cheers :)

A open cone filter will make it alot louder, also a Forge TIP healps with the sound (also airflow too).

I have the induction kit that takes the cone down near the front bumper and the difference in sound is huge even changing at low revs.

If you do put your foot down the 'wwooosshhh' when changing gear or taking your foot of pedal is very loud in and outside the car.

Only problem is im a bit paranoid about getting water sucked up so im always dodging puddles :)

I've got a 100mm feed that sits next to the nearside foglight. Even in yesterdays freakish rain it was ok. You just need to be off throttle if you hit any lakes :D

think i might join you on the 007p and induction kit. ive got a gfb 50/50 hybrid blow off valve on there at the mo loud as ought on low revs and high with no ecu errors but unfortunately my car is remapped and after reading a few threads the cars remap dont like it (getting a lot of turbo stall)

Take the bonnet lining off, I read it on here and thought it wouldn't make much difference but it really does. My friend drove mine the other day and I could hear the standard DV whoosh from 20-30m away quite clearly and that is just with a green open cone filter and the bonnet lining removed, before I took the lining off you could hardly hear it at all

sounds like a good idea wouldnt it fade the paint after a while tho with all the heat from the engine going straight thru the bonnet ?
also with the cold side relocation it will be a lot louder with the valve being closer to the front grill. i think?

going back to basics
i've done the following...

...removed bonnet lining, forge coldside kit, removed my green dynatwist heatshield to create an open cone filter and from the inside it sounds just like my old 620ti atmos DV:funk:
(except i didn't get the bang, pop, and clouds of smoke afterwards:cartman:)

oh, and a remap should increase noise too.

Hi, i just purchased a 007p but it didnt come with any washer plates so i fitted it without them with green spring as i am standard map. Do i need the washer plate with the spring because it drives fine?
