If you havent done the n249 bypass then in accordance with the eps system it will dump turbo pressure to stop the turbo creating boost, with the bypass it will jus sound when the throttle is closed.

Yep sounds like the N249 opening the DV. Its there to protect the car by allowing the ECU to ope the DV as and when it wants to but its also bloody annoying at the same time.

Its like ESP (traction) its there for a reason but just damn annoying!!! :D

Bypass it I would say. Easy done and know one reported any issues as long as running standard N75 and not an ECS one like I once had had..........

Which Leon is it?

Ignore the leon question just seen LCR on your profile.

Just disconnect pipe that runs from underisde on inlet manifold to block above coilpacks 3 & 4 and then either replace or extend over to the DV. Replace pipe on DV with this one and block DV pipe up, bolt and hose clamp works for me, and thats it!!
