Electric windows issue

Hi folks!

I have a couple of small issues -which could be related- with the electric windows on my 5 dr FR (LHD car).

First one: passenger windows doesn't go up/down automatically with a short impulse of the switch (all other 3 do).
I sometimes have the same problem on my other Leon. On the Renault I had before you simply had to wind completely up and down the window and keep the button pressed for 5 seconds on each end to reset the system. I have tried the same here, but it's still not working;

Issue nr. 2: when opening/closing the car, keeping the button on the fob pressed doesn't open/close the windows anymore. It does however fold the mirrors.

I have tried to look in the setup menu, but there seem to be only the entry related to automatic windows, which is of course enabled for all.

Any idea where else I shall look?

Cheers!

It sounds like you've already tried a reset procedure but here's the specific one for the Leon from the manual. Maybe that will help?

Restoring one-touch opening and closing

– The automatic open and close function will not work if the battery
has been temporarily disconnected. The function can be restored
as follows:

– Close the window as far as it will go by lifting and holding the
electric window switch.

– Release the switch and then lift it again for one second. This
will re-enable the automatic function.

Never actually knew the Leon has automatic windows, had mine a month now from new and my windows havent open or closed on one-touch once! Ill try the reset on my lunch and see if it works.

I thought it should have had it when i first noticed it didnt work on one-touch, my 51 plate clio had it ffs haha

Hi I've been viewing these forums but I thought I'd register just to input on this problem.....you're welcome ;).

All the leon's have the one touch window setting however the switches are really clunky and you can feel the 2 stages in the switch, they actually take a substantial and concerted press for the one touch operation to work. Further more I found that mine are quite intermittent and as such one of the switches actually broke, also when you press more than one at once it doesn't seem to like it and won't drop all the way
It's getting replaced under warranty and hopefully this should clear any bugs :/.

Yeah i noticed this last night, takes an almighty press of the switch for it to activate, bit of a piss take really

Thanks for the advices. Unfortunately the reset system doesn't seem to work.
The fact that the windows don't work with the keyfob as well make me think that there is something wrong with a sensor somewhere.
I'll try to bring the car to the dealer and see what they say.

A quick update:
I have checked again and there must be something wrong with the window's switch or with its electronics.
In fact if I set the "comfort opening" only for the driver's window it works with the keyfob, as soon as I set it back to all it stops working.
I wonder if the dealer touched something when the car was in for service... but since my wife uses it mostly I might have noticed only now.
