Electrical gremlins

The other day my indicators started playing up. If Im using them they sometimes flash a few times then stop flashing - stock remains in place. If I flick them off then on it does the same again. Sometimes works fine. I was thinking bad relay?

Then...today I stopped my car at the shop it was bright so I didnt have my lights on. I got out, "beep beep...beep beep"... Oh my lights must be on - nope switch in off postion. I look at the front and my o/s side light is on. I drive off and stop at work the lights are back to normal.

Any ideas?

well the offside light being on is a parking light thats y u get the beep beep beep so the car thinks the indicator is on not sure y tho could be the stalk or relay

Maybe I left the indicator in the up postion would that leave the r/h light on? oops

So back to the indicator problem then..
