HI , I DID NOT CHECK THAT Points yet , but an Authorized Seat Services Center called me today , to follow up , they told me that this issue( Flickering Lights) is found in many other Seat Cars , so it does not belong to my car , it is some kind of some thing wrong , thay asked me to go for another free maintenace in a few days , untill then they will try to Solve this issue.
However, i will check the points for the battery volts , and get back to you once i go back as i am travelling for a few days.

regards

The threads must have been deleted. I didn't see anything about silent indiators, you'll have to explain a bit more. The horse power should be able to be obtained from the owners manual if you have it. If not give the seat dealership your chassis number and they'll be able to tell you straight away. I wouldn't know off the top of my head what the bhp figure is.

Mate I think I'm with you now. I'm old skool, I've never been in an 08 ibiza. In my car the indicators make there noise via a relay. I get the impression that yours makes an audible sound through a speaker or something. The indicators are working just not making a sound. According to haynes I'm a competant mechanic not quite a level 5 expert but cheers.:D

Do the indicators still flash? I wouldn't have though you need to change a whole dash to fix indicators. The issues could be connected. A poor earth in the system. Seat maybe isn't the best person to take it to in suuny Egypt. An autospark would probably be better. They should have the manual to cover your model and identify what part of the wiring may be giving you trouble.

An autospark is an electrician that deals specifically with car electronics and electrical systems. I'm sorry that I can't help on this issue as I haven't dealt with your type of electrical system and I haven't got the manual or electrical drawings either. My tick because a relay swithces on and off, if the relay doesn't tick over then the indicators don't flash so as I say yours is different and I haven't come across it yet. Sorry.

Hi,an electcian workinv with skoda told me that my problem is my new bigger battery as the alternator regulator is not matching with that bigger battery,70 amp instead of 55 amp,so I need to change it back.
Any advise is much appreciated..
