In regards to the elliptical grooves are they merely for gripping the pads, or do they also dissipate heat as well like normal grooves?

    Thanks,

grooves are there to dissipate heat, but to allow the pads face to be swept and any outgassing from pads when being used in anger to be able to escape from the pad an dnot hold it off the disk face (fade)
there is more bite on a pad which is being faced by grooves. keeps them fresher biting for longer in their life

No performance difference between elitical and 8 groove that I can tell... just cosmetic appeal whichever floats ya boat. Both do the same job. Eliptical may be the slightly quieter of the 2 in hard use.
8 groove and eliptical are same price yes

Brembo calipers are all new, start again..
Kit price for 305mm brembo kit is £840inc vat but needs 16" minimum wheel diameter and 38mm caliper clearance from spoke to caliper as per this picture> http://badger-5.com/bin/wheel-section-view.gif

    Prices:
    Price for 280mm eliptical grooved. - £129+vat/pair
    rears are £89+vat/pair
    ds2500's - £79
    Pagid rears - £35
    delivery is £9.50
    plus vat

totals £381.23 inc vat & delivery
    regards
    bill

What price are the 280's at just now? £125+VAT or £129+VAT? Or cheaper? :p

And are they in stock? Would need to get them and then fit by the 6th.

Got brakes 4 my Cupra R?

    Hey there Bill!
I'm running on a standard set of brakes on my 1.8 20vt Seat Cupra R.
I looking for a full on brake kit, for both the front and rear.
    Currently running on 17"inch rims.

What i'm basically after are a good set of brakes, that will function well and withstand a good amount of punishment up to around 300BHP.

Any chance you could help me out?

Help in this matter is much obliged!
    Thanks
    :D

    Break pack

Alright, thanks for help and prices m8!

My rear brakes were getting so bad that I had to go to a local mechanic to get it fixed temporarily.
And as it turns out, not only did I have to change the rear brakes, but I also had to change three different wheel bearings. It has ended up costing me a bloody fortune. 1200£ to be specific. :S
What that means is that it will probably take me a few months until I have enough money to buy any performance upgrades :S

    SUCKS!

But I hope you still have a similar offer when the time comes, I really wanted and still want a good break upgrade.
Do you ship to Norway btw?
And do you sell other performance parts for Seat at reasonable prices? :)
If so then you will most definitely hear from me.

    Thanks again!
    Cheers
