Hi all redderv here merry crimbo

Just recently picked up a seat ibiza TDI S year 2001 with a 110 bhp asv engine, when i got the car the vnt ring in the turbo was sticking, meaning it wouldn't pick up well down low, also occasionally going into limp mode, so i removed the turbo and had it reconditioned with a bigger compressor wheel put on, and i fitted a PD150 inlet manifold, removed EGR system, and took the cat out the car is running really well now, in my head i was thinking if i done this work and remapped the car 150 BHP would be possible, but when i spoke to the remap boy he said i would not get that BHP, because i would max out the standard injectors. please help

Any advise would be gratefully received

Many thanks :)

Yep, your standard .205 holes wont really go past maybe 140-145 at most. You could get the .216's from the T4 van or you could do like me and get the bosios. I paid nearly £300 all in though for the nozzles plus fitting and setting up and of course poxy duty, they caught me on this occasion.
I would imagine with the bigger compressor wheel and nozzles you should probably get near 160-165, I'm not sure what you have. The stock turbo can do 155 though.

Anyway yeh, get some bigger holes and have them set up properly, it makes a huge difference. I don't get any smoke, at most you should maybe get a light haze.

HEY cheshire cat and seatmann

Thanks for the advice think i may look down the t4 route simply for cost reasons it would be nice to get them re-nozzled with nice big one for the big turbo later down the line lol but for now think i should settle myself for the .216 from the t4 any chance you no the engine code of the t4 engine they come off? many thanks again

Thanks seatmann

Had a look on ebay there, found a guy breaking t4,s, sent him an email see if he,d sell me 4 out of a set of 5 injectors probably not.... sure have to ask lol not looking stupid bhp that would be a nice upgrade for me. i,ve got an early 09 mk5 gt tdi golf at home and it,s 140bhp and if the ibiza goes anything like that i,d be over the moon

As long as they're cheap anyway, they'll allow for another 10-15bhp or so with the standard turbo but it's the torque, it should be a lot better than with just the standard nozzles.

hi seatmann, yeah torgues what i,m looking, for so you don,t need to rev the car so hard to make it go. what mods have you done? and what sort of bhp you got? and do you think you would have clutch problems with 160_165 bhp when i say problems i mean needing to upgrade?
