evo triangle!

I'm organising a trip out in the new year, encompassing the evo triangle, the llanberis pass and a few other driving roads sprawling 250 miles and about 6 hours driving time.

There will be stops and a lunch break after the llanberis pass in a nice café.

The planned date is February the 8th. Weather permitting but will only be cancelled in heavy rain/snow.

The event will be updated on facebook, along with a picture of the proposed route and fuel stops!

Could be up for this, did the same route a couple of weekends ago while staying in Caernarfon, excellent roads!

I forgot to mention that we are leaving from raf cosford (wv7 3ex) and will be leaving around 0900. There is a fuel station just outside for everyone to park, fill up and get any snacks! Cosford is located just of the m54.

We will then head up past Telford and Shrewsbury, can pick anyone up on the way aslog as its been arranged prior!

Will get to the evo triangle for about 1030-1100. And from then on in, apart from the lunchstop at the llanberis pass we will be driving and stopping for photos!

Dont forget to bring your go pro's and cameras!

Any interest from anyone?

Got a cupra running 450hp, rs running about the same, a mk1 escort, an st-2, my cupra which should be about 280hp, a JCW mini and a few others confirmed so far!

Put us down as a possible, should (it had bloody better be here by then!) be a Mk 3 Cupra, if its all gone pear shaped it'll be an LCR Mk 2

Only ball ache was the chocolate box cafe was closed
Mud was really , er , interesting, hence the reason I'm in having a new tyre fitted today!
It's not a long way from Cardiff, well, same country, and cracking roads over the Brecon's

More the merrier. I did a similar thing a few weeks bake and went up to lake vrenny (I think Thats how it was spent) with 3 cars and it was an awesome day out!

You mean Vyrnwy know it well, many a happy hour spent round there and Bala. Got a day off today so may head out to the Brecons for a look see.
