Hi,
I have smashed the drivers side door mirror on my 2011 Exeo ST
The glass and mirror back have gone but the body seems intact and still goes into the folded position.
can anybody shed some light on -
a) Does the whole mirror need replacing or will a new glass, heating element and case back do the trick?
b) If a new mirror is required, do I have to get an Exeo mirror or will a Leon or Ibiza mirror suffice (thinking second hand options)?
I've looked at a 6J Ibiza mirror which is very similar in shape but it looks like the fitting pins are different however , I wondered if I get a cheap second hand one I can cannibalise it for the case and glass/heating element?
