Hey guys,
Been lurking a while reading up on things.
Not long purchased a 53 plate Cupra R 225 as my daily driver. It's platinum in colour and at the moment factory standard. It shifts well even with 118k on the clock. Front splitter is cracked in many places but the rest of the car is tidy.
First issue to fix is the coolant sensor that has failed. Ordered a new part from my local VW garage to pickup Tuesday. Then clear the engine management light and hopefully the thermostat will settle down and rough idle at traffic lights will be fixed. Then the first job is to get fresh fluid in the brakes as they are shocking at the moment.
Cheers,
Matt
