fitting costs of coilovers

hi guys just a quick one

im going to buy the koni str.t kit and wondered what is the usual cost for fitting or how long does it take?

not goingto do it myself as havent got the right tolls but dont wanna get ripped off at the garage

Make sure if you do get this done by a garage you brief them on how to fit these properly. Or choose your garage carefully.
They will have to drop the sub frame a bit to allow the strutts out of the hub carriers on the front.
Remember to have new top mouint bushes and bearings for the front and new bushes for the rear
This should take no more than 3 hours barring any seized/snapped bolts.

You be cheaper to buy the tools needed for the job and start doing the jobs yourself.

shouldnt need to drop the subframe to get the struts out of the hubs willie....

tools to diy will be cheaper than a garage.

fitting costs will be circa 150quid for setup and alignment

Fair enough, on the LCR you do, or you don't have to but it makes the job easier.
This is on the drivers side where the long drive shaft hits the sub frame

thanks guys, i know a rough price now,

£300 for the koni's
£150 fitting
plus £££?? for poly bushes???
