hi all...

I recently bought a set of leather seats from a v5 toledo, at the time of buying i didnt actually realise the fronts seats have electric moving rails with a memory setting..

Can the electric seats be made to work in my car which currently has manual movement?? ive been told if i could find a a power source they could work.. how exactly could this be done and would i need any resistors etc??

Bought some Audi A3 seats with electric lumbar support to put in Toledo Sport, hoping wiring loom was the same as V5 Toledo, no joy, so my mate feed a power source from the cig lighter, took wiring under center console to seats, reason he used cig lighter has a high resistance(power source), hope this helps, might not be the right way, but this is the way we done it.

thanks for the reply, do you have any resistors, relays installed???.. the seats have electric rail movement, back of the seat and lumber...

only thing im wondering about is the memory setting.. the driver seat seems to have a ecu.ish lookin box, will this mean the memory may work or not??
