Hello there , Have bought myself and just recieved a cupra r splitter , Right i know it needs some modding to fit onto my fr . But how to go about doing so . Do i drill grooves ? do i cut the lugs stick it with silicone sealent then drill a few holes and put bolts through to the bumper. Dont really fancy making like 30 grooves for it to slot into lol.
Any advice would be great or tutorials. cheers chaps

absolute doddle to fit, just a nightmare lining it up on your own. I shaved the tabs flat using a wood chisel ;)

This is easy-peasy, just trim down the 2 lugs by approx. 10mm, then use a few strips of masking tape to align and hold the splitter in place. You can then either drill thru the splitter and bumper and fit bolts / screws or do wot I done and use self-tapping screws thru both :D
Hope this helps

Richybigman cheers for the above link... On that style of bumper does the splitter fit corner to corner or does it come up a little short??

Cheers
