Looking at getting some springs for my 2016 Ibiza Cupra, because apparently in order to fit coilovers you have to disable the mag ride which costs and also affects the ‘sport’ button.

Can anyone tell me the ins and outs of this, AKA do you have to disable mag ride in order to fit springs, and does fitting springs affect the sport button?

Cheers

Can’t really give advice on the mag suspension setup, but what I can say is that if you are looking at getting coilovers and worried about it affecting the usage of the sport button, then don’t get coilovers as it will be the same as having sport mode on all the time. As long as you get a good set, there should be no big change in comfort. I actually found my coilovers to be more comfortable than the standard suspension.
