Footwell lights

Just a quick question...first bit of dark driving this morning...are the lights in the footwell supposed to stay on permanently when lights are on...any car ive ever had before, they fade away when doors closed..

Also, thinking about front splitter and roof spoiler for a 15 plate ST. Can anyone point me in the direction of the best ones

Yes, they are but dimmed. It's so you can check your feet are still attached while you are driving... or something

You can adjust them in the vehicle settings menu, you can change the brightness they’re set to when driving or turn them off completely. I usually have mine very dim as it’s quite nice at night!
