Forge valves

Hi everyone,

Been doing a bit of reading of posts and general looking around on the net.

Have started doing some work on the cupra, will get some pics up over the weekend. Had new exhaust, lowering and spacing carried out and am now starting to get the bug!!

Anyway am planning on getting the car remapped in the next few weeks, am waiting for pay day, have spent a lot on the car this month but want to get a forge valve fitted now to spread out the cost a bit!

Engine wise the car is currently standard, except for a performance pannel filter. I have been looking into the Forge FMCL007P which is 100% recirc valve. I have also been looking at the FMDVSPLTR which is recirc and atmosp.

I see that you can make the FMDVSPLTR 100% recirc if required as has an optional bung that can be added.

Are there any other diferences in these 2 valves except for what what I have mentioned. Also I would like a bit of noise but not to much would the 007p generate any? want it more for actual performance of the product rather than drawing attention.

Can I also check that there are no problems with just upgrading the valve even if there was no remap carried out?

Thanks for taking the time to read

and to answer your other question, the 007p can be a good upgrade even if your car doesn't have a remap. The plastic factory item (can't be many cupras with those left!) can stick, etc.
