Forum meet Trophy - Big T's LCR

Well with a long weekend behind us I've started doing some bits ready for our next meet. As well as doing the beast from the east I've got 2 other cars to sort. A MK2 Leon which will be in another thread and this... A MK1 LCR based on @bigT's lcr.

Got it out the box with some shocking paint work.

Ordered the LCR wheels or as close as I could get and got some rubber along with discs that should fit but maybe big...

So took all the paint off and stripped the bodywork of lights etc then primed and sprayed black to get something like this.

Next job was to fill in the hole in the roof, handy use of plastic putty with a bit of plastic cut to shape to fill the majority.

When that's all dry I'll make it smooth (should of done it before painting but hey)

Next was to get the wheels ready for paint

Still to come...

Fit wheels
Paint blue calipers
Paint blue S logos
Paint blue R badges
Paint lights to match
And maybe some other bits that I've forgotten haha

Which model brand is this one exactly?
What was originally on the roof that needed removing & filling...taxi sign?

Yeah it came with a taxi sign as the previous LCR I found never arrived, shame as I wouldn't of needed new wheels etc

Not sure on model I'll have to check but the price wasn't too bad... The hole I fear will always be seen which annoys me.

Little bit more done this evening, wheels painted and discs put in with blue calipers (not a great pic) and the front lights with first coat.

Love it! Front lights look ace. Only downer is, when I first loaded the page on my phone, I got a zoomed picture of your cupped left hand. I had to tentatively scroll up to see what it was holding!!

Unfortunately these wheels are not that deep but didn't have time to make spacers lol
