i'd be surprised if a dealers did not know, i think they are a lot more clued up than some think. My policy is just not brag too much to the dealers about what you done. I have never told them about my remap, but more obvious mods they know about, in fact they did the sideskirts for me.

I dont think all Stealers wouldn't know about remaps, but when you read some of the stories in the Dealers: Your Say section...

When i booked mine in for a service i got the,

"Seat Ibiza you say, not seen one of them, is that new or something"

and that was the seat delaer,

The last time my car went to the Stealer they labelled it as a Leon and I have photographic evidence of it
