After some advice if you'd be so kind.. Recently had the exhaust gas temperature (bank 1 sensor 1) changed on my Leon, after around about 700-800 miles over two weeks the code came back along with the engine management light and occasionally the glow plug light too.
The garage confirmed it was the same code and there were no other fault codes prompted so they have tried to get TPS to replace it under warranty - they're saying they won't replace it unless I take it to a Seat Dealership/garage to get their confirmation, which is annoying as the nearest one is around about 40 minutes away.
Unfortunately they can't get it booked in until next Friday and I've got about another 400 miles of driving to do between then, so a question that could be compared to "how long is a piece of string" but how much damage can you do by driving it if the sensor has gone again? Concerned about the DPF that's all.
Would really appreciate any advice!
