Free boot struts to a good(local preferably) home

Hi all, as the title suggests I’m giving away the boot struts for a Mk3 Leon needed in order for the boot to open itself.

Part number is 492515N they’re the stabilus 017468 from the attached picture.

The reason for giving them away is that I’m changing car and the Seat is going back to lease company! They come in the original box and have served me well for the last 18 months.

I’ve had them on a 66 plate SC but I believe they also fit 5 door models(not sure about the ST)

I live in Nottingham and will meet anyone that wants them(somewhere like McDonald’s so you don’t kill me) or if you want them and are willing to pay postage we can also arrange that in private messages.

I know these have gone now but when fitted how fast did the boot pop open or was it more of a steady rise.
want some for my 5 door.

It’s pretty quick, not so much that it will damage the car but it doesn’t hang around. Have to be very careful closing the boot with them fitted and not do what I did by pushing it in the middle and leaving a dent of my hand haha
