Ok my driver side fog light is not working anymore. I assume it is the bulb.

Where can I get the bulb from and how do I change it?

Went to halfords and they were as useful as they always are (ie. not)

remove the fog light by removing grill and undoing the 3 screws, pop the back of it off by twisting and take the bulb in to halfords and match it up. Simples

Can confirm it's H3

When you were in halfords did you not use their flip chart books for matching the bulb yourself? Quicker than asking a spotty 16 year old

My local Halfrauds doesn't have a page with Seat on it! When I asked about it the guy said the book must be right as he had just put the new one that morning, hence how I ended up with two brake lights when I went in for tail lights. This is also surprising as he typed the number of my plate into the Halfrauds Super Computer and that was the only bulb type it came up with for my rear lights. Which if anyone on here who has changed there will know it's a 501 bulb, same as the sidelights, and indicator bulbs.

Just checked on their website which also seems to tap into the Super Computer and they have the foglights listed as H7??

There is no mention anywhere of H3 bulbs, and I for a fact that they are H3 as I've changed mine and my Dad's fog light bulbs.
H3 Bulbs are the ones with the little tail wire on them aren't they?

Another thing I should point out, the last time I changed my bulbs I put the drivers side fog light in upside down, (didn't know that they had a top or bottom!), it was shing up instead of straight out... took it out, turned it round, back in nae bother! Straight as...

By grill I assume you mearly mean the honeycomb black sections surrounding the fog light. I has a look as could see some accessible screws from the front.

I work for Halfords & i have to say the service which some people receive is dissappointing, but the reason Halfords employ young people just like many other retailers is that they can pay lower wages. But obviously someone with experience wants a higher salary, but 4 cheap employees who are less experienced is more effective than one experienced person in a busy shop environment at a weekend.

I can't say i've ever done a ibiza fog light yet, but i have to say that i'm always up for a challenge, Ford KA headlights are great fun...

Hi, sorry for digging up an old thread but one of my mates' mates has a bulb out and can't unscrew the fog light! He said it's a star shaped screw which made me think it might be a torx? Does anyone know what screwdriver he needs?

Cheers

It's a standard philips screwdriver, although the screws are very much exposed to the elements so I would expect a fair bit of corrosion. Best to get it out and just order some new screws from the dealers - they can't be expensive.
