Hi guys,
Driving along the other day. Went to switch my wipers on and I got nothing at all.
Checked fuse. Seemed fine. Power going to fuse ok.
So I decided to strip them down and see if it was linkage. One side seemed pretty seized up so cracked it all lose and cleaned them up.
I then reassembled and reconnected plug to back of motor and got nothing.
I then assumed it’s probably the motor. So picked up a new motor and reassembled...but still nothing.
So I then took it down to a local garage and they couldn’t find the source. No power getting to the motor plug. But power going to fuse ok. So looks like I need to plug into VAG to see where the problem lies.
Rear wiper, Passenger window and Front wipers gone within a few months.
I could live with the rest but I kinda need my front wipers living in the UK!
Has anyone experienced anything similar? If so any help would be much appreciated!
