Hello Chaps/Girls

Had to replace my fuel filler cap on my 6J as the rubber hold had perished. Got the new part minus the lock obviously, so the question is....how the hell do I get the lock out?

Any tips gratefully appreciated!

Exactly which bits became useless. I would consider transferring, if possible the duff bits for new bits, also, or as you have now got a locking fuel cover without its lock fitted, maybe look closely at it to see where there is evidence of how the lock fits, and use that knowledge to get the old lock out? There is usually a spring loaded pin in there or a pin that needs pressing out, that locates the lock barrel in.
