Fuel Gauge broken!

    Cupra st 290. Left the fuel go lower than usual before refilling. When filled , still showing empty . Has the sensor managed to get stuck ? Speedometer working.

    Most likely the buoy inside the tank got stuck. Try rocking the car around, making use of the 290hp?

    If you only put 3-5 litres or something, then it may not register (my personal experience) but if you filled it to full, and it's still showed empty...not sure. What does the range say?

    It’ll come back soon, I think mines is broke every 300 miles mind you.

    Range is saying empty, red light flashing. Ya filled the tank!

    Did a search and from what I can see is drive a few hundred miles and refill , this might bring the sensor back to life. Hopefully I don’t run out of petrol carrying this little exercise out!

    Refilled and all back to normal !!

    Must have stuck and the fuel sloshing in sorted it?

    Looks like it. Happened to somebody else on here also and same result.
