Hi guys.

I'm new to the forum, but since i bought a Cupra Cordoba few weeks ago i thought why not to join.

So, umm after plugging vag-com to my vehicle i got some error codes and one of them was;

01423 - Lateral Acceleration Sensor (G200)
57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure

I have been screwing of panels trying to find the sensor from alot of places, but no results. Apparently it is on the left behind the steering wheel in VW's and Audis (Golf, A3, A4) but was not there on my car. This Cordoba is a 6K2 model.

I went to a shop to ask where it could be and they said that it is in the ABS-unit. However, i cant find anything G200 related with the ABS-unit's spare number.

Any help? :)

Yeah, but that's pretty easy

If you're lucky you might be able to get at it if you slide it fully forwards & raise it as much as possible

It was at the front of the gearstick. Right under the 12v output.
