Gear knob replacement

My car currently has a Sparko gear knob that is too loose (can basically be twisted around), and unfortunately doesn't have a way of securing tightly to the gear shaft. Therefore needs to be replaced. Anyone know of any direct replacements, preferably from other VAG models? Car is a 5-speed manual. Thanks

I've been looking into this myself with no real lead other than generic ones from ebay.

Was the Sparco loose from when it was first installed? I found a chrome and black one on Amazon for around 25 quid that I was thinking of buying as it would go well with the black and chrome/grey interior I'm planning.

It never had any screws to tighten onto the gear stick shaft, only sleeves. These were fine, until the weather got warm.

I ended up buying a universal gear knob off ebay. Looks pretty good.
