Gearknob??

Apologies if someone has already covered this but im really stuck with it..

There is a guide on here that 'shows' how to replace the standard gearknob but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to put a new aftermarket gearknob on. Is there something i am not doing right?

I have got all the gaitor off and the old gearknob off, but the new one i got has no way of fitting to the gearstick.

Am i being thick or can someone shed more light onto it for me??

thanks, was going to look for that this afternoon and print
got a seat sport arriving soon (ebay bargain at less than the buy it now that exists at £75) and need to swap out

Was that the one attached to the gaiter already that went for £48?

I saw it but I'm after the carbon or aluminium one.....which I've been after for months now.

There is a carbon one with the gaiter but I don't need the gaiter and it's listed at £75 or something daft lol. I asked him if he could just sell the knob but he gave me a wide berth

No no I wasn't after that one anyway and as said above the one @ £75 is a daft price when you can buy them new for less than that!

yeah especially when you see the guide pab did in 2007 they were expensive enough then, i wouldn't go over 60 inc P+P
just hope i can change it without breaking anything!!
