Just recently, everywhere I go, I seem to be grounding my Cupra R front lip.
Are speed bumps bigger than normal????

How much is the lip to replace?

IS IT EASY TO REPLACE?????

Take speed bumps at a slight angle if possible, also that £18 bit of plastic is stopping a £400 bumper (incl paint and fitting) getting mullered.....great design by SEAT if you ask me....

Can be replaced if you have axle stands or two jacks and 20 mins to spare.

It's not just clip on/clip off! It dislodged mine a while back and needed a lot of brute force to 'clip' it back in!!

The secret with speed bumps is to jab the brakes just before you get to one and then lift off and the car naturally springs up!!! :)

Often the impacts sound horrible but they result in very little damage.

When a friend of mine was studying in Portsmouth I went to stay and I scuffed the splitter reversing in to his place. Driving out the next morning was torture. No matter what I tried the splitter caught and made a horrendous noise. People 100m down the street were looking round to see me sheepishly trying to get my pride and joy onto the road....

Nah, easiest way is to place trolley jack under one of the central splitter towers and slowly start to jack. It will look like the whole lot is going to sudelny fire up and rip off your front bumper but it will just click back into place! Then repeat the process with other mounting tower! Takes about 4 mins!
