Only if you're sure Lee.... no pressure. All depends how much disposable income i have in the new year. :)

Either way, i'll await a PM. :)

Good work with the car by the way mate. :)

I'm picking up the new wheels on monday, but they don't have any tyres, plus i don't want to ruin the finish in the up and coming shite british winter weather. Gonna have to wait til about march time at the earliest to get them on

Will give one wheel a trial fit though, gotta be done ;)

Wow.... more shineyness!!!! :) Can't wait to see them on your motor! :) I'll have to come along to one of your HC meets mate. :)

I like the look of them and look forward to seeing pics of them on the car

shweeeet. :)

Cheers guys, can't wait either. They are 17"s, et35, 7.5j wide and 5x100, obviously. Think they will look sweet, and due to them being wider than the tt alloys, i'm hoping i'll just need maybe 10mm spacers on the rear for a bit of poke, and a slight stretch on the tyres to go with the lowering :D

Roll on the new year :)

Collected the new wheels today, well worth the 220 mile round trip for them! The pic above is very deceiving, its makes it seem as if they have a lot of dish when they havn't (see 3rd pic) but i'm still happy

Looking into getting them refurbed early next year, want to keep the polished lip, and paint the centres red or black. Anyone know of any companies who are good when it comes to repairing polished lips and re-polishing them?

On a more sour note, someone decided to drive in the middle of the road the other day, and demolish my driver's side mirror  Not having much luck this month with people hitting me :x

NO WAY!!! Did you see it happen/get numbers etc? Hope you're okay bud?

With regards to the alloy refurb and repair, do you know of a company called Aerocoat, in St Olaves? I don't know who you use at the moment but they might be worth a shot. Quoted me between £40-65 per corner to get my alloys refurbed and painted. (That'll be next year though :) )

Winter update

Been feeling a bit low due to the weather and picking up just about every winter bug going, so thought i'd treat myself to some bits. Managed to pick up a car bra off ebay, brand new custom made jobbie for less than half the price of a new one in the shops :) Will be for shows and good weather only though. And got some tyres fitted to my other wheels, whilst doing this one of the lips came off, so i'll be removing all of them, and getting the wheels refurbed in the new year. May fit them in their current state, depends on whether they clear my calipers or not. If not, i'll just get some spacers. Also ordered new gaskets for the throttle body and inlet manifold, so i'm all ready to put them on, and will be able to fit my lower silicone breather hose that i've had for about 6 months at the same time lol. Fitted my new CTS the other day, idle seems a bit smoother, and boost seems to build better, might be my imagination though. Also got a lambda to fit at some point, so it might actually run right soon :D
