Hey guys and gals,

Finally got throught to my GF that her crappy punto is costing too much to fix when it goes wrong, and took her to view a 2002 Seat Arosa :D

Its a 1.0 MPI, in really good condition, currently up for £2299 at a used car place near me, with 75000 miles. I assume a full MOT will be included too.

Now for the questions:

1) Is the 1.0L engine sluggish? Her 1.2 punto is horribly slow, and the arosa engine is 10bhp down on the Fiat
2) Is the 1.0L engine reliable?
3) Does the price sound fair?

Too far away, plus she's pretty hooked on this one. Really need info from people who have a 1.0L Arosa, but cheers for your input :)

Ah ok mate. Her punto at the minute is stupidly sluggish, can't be any worse. Just done a car valuation on it on What Car, it reckons a dealer price should be around £1600?

I paid that amount for my 1.0 mpi last year but mine is 2003 and it only had 15000 miles .. And its a great little car .. Struggles on motorways though but quite nippy round town

Cheers
