Anyone know how to remove the glovebox lid?
I dont no about the glove box but your website is wkd. Its facinating reading what you have done to your car and the gains are amazing to. Congrats
When you say lid, which part do you mean?
Im guessing you don't mean the door, cuz you would have said door
So do you mean the bit of the dash that sits above the glove box, or the top of the internal part of the glove box?
Can you even take the lid off?
I would suggest taking the whole glovebox part of the dash out. There should be screws on the side behind the dash side panel and a couple in the glove box. Remember to release the airbag swich cable before removing.
Dont know if this helps:-
Le me know if you need the break down of p/n
if you remove whole glovebox, then with lid open at each side there are pins pushed in! yank them out and bobs etc!
Sorry yes, it's the actual front lid/door I'm talking about, with the handle on it to open it, I want to remove it without breaking anything!
Thanks for the replies, I'll take the whole glovebox out and do it that way - cheers!
I know it is a bit late, but to help with people doing a 'search' it is a mega pain to get the door off......it is possible to do it and not break it, but you have to be patient, careful and have the balls to try it lol
